Since 2015, Avenew has been active in supporting project management community development in Indonesia. Avenew is a loyal sponsor of Project Management Institute (PMI) Indonesia Chapter for its Annual Premier event Symposium & Exhibition on Project Management.

March 13 & 14 2019, Avenew was an exhibitor at SYMEX 2019 that was held in Courtyard by Marriott Bali Nusa Dua Resort. This event was attended by more than 150 professionals, academicians, and students not only from Indonesia, but also from Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, UK, USA, Poland. The SYMEX speakers were world-class speakers that were sharing their experiences, knowledge and ideas.

At Avenew booth, the sales team promoted Avenew products and services, such as: project management series book that can help practitioners to learn about project management or to prepare for PMP, CAPM and PMI-RMP certifications. Lot of participants were interested to know about project management courses and consulting as the main core businesses of Avenew Indonesia.

It was a great honour for Avenew to be participating in this world-class event and supporting local community in developing project management in Indonesia. PMI Indonesia Chapter president Ms. Alin Veronika, PMP, PMI-RMP explained in her speech that currently Indonesia only has 875 PMP certified, compared to Singapore that has 11, 120 PMP certified and Malaysia has 3,716 PMP certified. Indonesia has to have more project manager that hold international certification in order to compere with other professionals from other countries.
