The PMP® certification recognises competence of an individual to perform in the role of a project manager, specifically experience in leading and directing projects.

Those who are responsible for all aspects of a project for the life of a project lead and direct cross-functional teams to deliver projects within the constraints of time, budget and scope.

If you answer yes to more than one of the questions below a specific certification, PMI recommends that you pursue PMP® certification.

  • Do you demonstrate sufficient knowledge and experience to appropriately apply a methodology to projects that have reasonably well-defined requirements and deliverables?

Certification Criteria

Candidates applying for certification, as Project Management Professionals must satisfy the educational and experiential requirements for one of the following categories listed below and agree to abide by the Project Management Professional Code of Professional Conduct.
